This document provides density profiles for the metropolitan areas that had
corresponding urbanized areas of more than 1,000,000 population as reported in the
1990 census. The profiles are based upon deciles (10 percent) sections of geographical
area, based upon all census tracts with 500 or more persons per square mile.
